Bucktown and Wicker Park will always be close to our hearts. With amazing restaurants, creative energy, historic charm, and some of our favorite memories (including years spent along Division Street and street-fest summers), these neighboring Chicago communities feel lively, welcoming, and full of character.
Bucktown and Wicker Park will always feel like a huge part of our Chicago story. These two neighborhoods sit side-by-side on the northwest side of the city, and together they’ve created some of our favorite memories — long dinners with friends, afternoons wandering boutiques, and years of life happening in between coffee shops, music venues, and late-night tacos. We spent some really good years along Division Street, and one of our favorite traditions was heading to Do Division Street Fest — running into friends, listening to live music, and soaking up that only-in-Chicago energy.
There’s a creative, urban vibe here that we’ve always loved. You’ll find tree-lined streets mixed with historic walk-ups, trendy restaurants, indie shops, cozy cafés, and some of the best people-watching anywhere in the city. Milwaukee, Damen, North, and Division form the heartbeat of the area — full of nightlife, brunch spots, and neighborhood staples that make everyday life feel fun and full.
At the same time, Bucktown and Wicker Park still feel like home — warm, walkable, familiar, and full of character. There’s an easy Metra and Blue Line commute, quick access to downtown, plus parks, schools, and bike paths like The 606 connecting everything together.
For us, these neighborhoods aren’t just places on a map — they’re chapters in our lives. They’re where we grew, worked, built relationships, and deepened our love for Chicago. And helping our clients find homes here always feels a little bit extra special.
